Mount Ayr Raiders (Mount Ayr, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Interstate 35 Roadrunners (Truro, IA), 55-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mount Ayr upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Raiders host Sidney (Sidney, IA) to play the Cowboys in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 6-14. Sidney lost 42-36 in their recent non-league bout against East Mills (Malvern, IA)

Next up, the Roadrunners play the Pleasantville Trojans (Pleasantville, IA) in a West Central bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Interstate 35 will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 6-14 record after their 60-26 league loss to Des Moines Christian (Des Moines, IA).
