The Kewanee Boilermakers basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Orion Chargers to 41 in the Boilermakers non-league victory on Monday.

The Boilermakers now sport a 10-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Farmington for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 10. Kewanee will battle a Farmers team coming off a 65-31 non-league loss to Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL). The Farmers record now stands at 4-26.

The Chargers (3-26) will now prepare for their contest against Monmouth United (Monmouth, IL). The Red Storm come into the non-league contest with a 14-10 record. In their last contest, Monmouth United prevailed over ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL), 51-24, in a league contest.
