Oskaloosa Indians (Oskaloosa, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Knoxville Panthers (Knoxville, IA), 48-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Oskaloosa upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Indians host North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA) to play the Warhawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Warhawks go into the bout with a record of 16-4. North Mahaska lost 68-46 in their recent non-league bout against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Eddyville, IA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Centerville Big Reds/Redettes (Centerville, IA) in a South Central bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Knoxville will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Big Reds/Redettes go into the bout with a 2-18 record after their 49-28 non-league loss to Sigourney (Sigourney, IA).
