The Westmont Sentinels (Westmont, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL), 51-50 in Monday's non-league test.

The Sentinels (14-15) will now prepare for their test against De La Salle (Chicago, IL). The Meteors go into the non-league test with a 11-19 record. In their last test, De La Salle was tipped by Resurrection (Chicago, IL), 57-49, in a non-league test.

The Lemont HS now own a 10-13 record. They play next when they travel to Evergreen Park for a South Suburban - Red test on Tuesday, February 6. Lemont will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 55-41 league win over Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-13.
