Norwich Free Academy Wildcats (Norwich, CT) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Lyman Memorial Bulldogs (Lebanon, CT), 71-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Norwich Free Academy upgrades its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats host New London (New London, CT) to play the Whalers in a Eastern Connecticut - 1 bout on Friday, February 9. The Whalers come into the bout with a record of 14-3. New London won 59-48 in their recent non-league bout against Windham (Willimantic, CT)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Westbrook Knights (Westbrook, CT) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Lyman Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 3-13 record after their 42-38 league win over Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT).
