Maple Grove Crimson (Maple Grove, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN), 56-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Maple Grove upgrades its record to 17-3 on the season. The Crimson travel to Andover (Andover, MN) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 17-3. Andover won 52-35 in their recent non-league bout against Chaska (Chaska, MN)

Next up, the Sabers play the Apple Valley Eagles (Apple Valley, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Shakopee will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 8-15 record after their 76-31 non-league loss to Burnsville (Burnsville, MN).
