South Dakota High School Basketball - Wall trounces Newell

The Wall Eagles (Wall, SD) basketball crushed the host Newell Irrigators (Newell, SD), 83-43 in Monday's non-league test.

The Eagles (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Freeman (Freeman, SD). The Flyers go into the non-league test with a 13-4 record. In their last test, Freeman was trounced by Hanson (Alexandria, SD), 58-44, in a non-league test.

The Irrigators now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Timber Lake for a B Region 8 test on Friday, February 9. Newell will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 54-15 non-league loss to Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD). The Panthers record now stands at 5-12.
