Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Piketon Redstreaks (Piketon, OH) and the visiting Western Indians (Latham, OH), saw Piketon's basketball squad wallop Western by a tally of 56-19.

With the victory, Piketon improves its record to 9-12 on the campaign. The Redstreaks host Paint Valley (Bainbridge, OH) to confront the Bearcats in a Scioto Valley challenge on Friday, February 9. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-18. Paint Valley lost 51-35 in their recent league challenge against Huntington (Chillicothe, OH)

Next up, the Indians confront the Symmes Valley Vikings (Willow Wood, OH) in a Southern Ohio II challenge, on Wednesday, February 7. Western will attempt to improve on its 1-19 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 14-5 record after their 59-22 league win over Western (Latham, OH).
