Nebraska High School Basketball - Smith Center knocked off by Superior

February 5, 2024: Superior, NE 68978

The Superior Wildcats basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Smith Center Redmen to 28 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.

The Wildcats now sport a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sandy Creek for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Superior will battle a Cougars team coming off a 42-39 non-league win over Fillmore Central (Geneva, NE). The Cougars record now stands at 6-15.

The Redmen (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Norton (Norton, KS). The Bluejays enter the non-league contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Norton ran past Decatur Community (Oberlin, KS), 36-23, in a non-league contest.
