The Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI) basketball crushed the host East Greenwich Avengers (East Greenwich, RI), 46-16 in Monday's non-league test.
The Sentinels (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Shea (Pawtucket, RI). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record.
The Avengers now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mount St. Charles Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 6. East Greenwich will encounter a Mounties squad coming off a 25-23 non-league loss to Cumberland (Cumberland, RI). The Mounties record now stands at 2-2.
