Lanphier Lions (Springfield, IL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Cahokia Comanches (Cahokia, IL), 56-52 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Lanphier upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to MacArthur (Decatur, IL) to play the Generals in a bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Generals come into the bout with a record of 1-0.
