Louisiana High School Basketball - Church Point fells Port Barre

The Church Point Bears basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Port Barre Red Devils to 47 in the Bears non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Bears now have a 18-8 record. They play next when they travel to Pine Prairie for a 3A District 4 game on Friday, February 7. Church Point will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 71-22 league loss to Northwest (Opelousas, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-16.
The Red Devils (9-16) will now prepare for their outing against Oakdale (Oakdale, LA). The Warriors enter the 2A District 5 outing with a 15-16 record.
