Michigan High School Basketball - Galesburg-Augusta holds off Springport

The Galesburg-Augusta Rams basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Springport Spartans to 44 in the Rams non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Rams now have a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Martin for a Southwestern - Central game on Friday, February 7. Galesburg-Augusta will confront a Clippers team coming off a 48-29 non-league win over Saugatuck (Saugatuck, MI). The Clippers record now stands at 6-10.

With the loss, Springport falls to 10-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Bronson (Bronson, MI) to confront the Vikings in a Big 8 game on Friday, February 7. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 7-10. Bronson lost 60-52 in their recent non-league game against Brandywine (Niles, MI)
