In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Guadalupe Centers Aztecs basketball team scored a close 2-0 triumph over the Miami Eagles.

The Aztecs (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Frontier STEM (Kansas City, MO). The go into the Great Plains contest with a 0-13 record. In their last contest, Frontier STEM was tipped by Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri (Kansas City, MO), 58-31, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Northeast Vernon County Knights (Walker, MO) in a Golden Valley Vernon contest, on Friday, February 7. Miami will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 6-8 record after their 57-45 non-league loss to Lakeland (Deepwater, MO).
