Virginia High School Basketball - Herndon knocks off Park View

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA) and the host Park View Patriots (Sterling, VA), observed Herndon's basketball team overcome Park View by a margin of 63-47.
The Hornets (13-7) will now prepare for their challenge against George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA). The Statesmen come into the District 2 challenge with a 14-7 record. In their last challenge, George C. Marshall defeated Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA), 56-35, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the John Champe Knights (Aldie, VA) in a Catoctin challenge, on Friday, February 7. Park View will attempt to better on its 4-16 season record.
