In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host IC Catholic Prep Knights basketball team scored a close 56-50 win over the Loyola Academy Ramblers.

The Knights (22-6) will now prepare for their contest against Montini Catholic (Lombard, IL). The Broncos come into the Chicago Catholic - White contest with a 13-11 record. In their last contest, Montini Catholic was tipped by Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL), 59-34, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Ramblers battle the Leo Lions (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Catholic - Blue contest, on Friday, February 7. Loyola Academy will attempt to better on its 20-7 season record. The Lions come into the contest with a 16-9 record after their 78-62 non-league win over St. Francis de Sales (Chicago, IL).
