The Pope John Paul II Jaguars (Slidell, LA) basketball toppled the visiting Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy Swamp Owls (Kenner, LA), 56-46 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Jaguars now possess a 10-9 record. They play next when they host St. Helena College and Career Academy for a 2A District 9 bout on Friday, February 7. Pope John Paul II will play a Hawks team coming off a 39-37 non-league loss to Bogalusa (Bogalusa, LA). The Hawks record now stands at 18-9.
With the loss, Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy falls to 9-17 on the campaign. The Swamp owls travel to Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA) to play the Cardinals in a 4A District 9 bout on Friday, February 7. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 12-15.
