Washington, DC High School Basketball - Takoma Academy defeats Parkside

The Takoma Academy Tigers (Takoma Park, MD) basketball were winner over the host Parkside Eagles (Washington, DC), 72-61 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 15-12 record. They play next when they host Southern Maryland Christian Academy for a Maryland Independent bout on Monday, February 10. Takoma Academy will play a Mustangs team coming off a 79-73 league win over King's Christian Academy (Callaway, MD). The Mustangs record now stands at 15-7.
With the loss, Parkside falls to 18-9 on the campaign. The Eagles host KIPP College Prep (Washington, DC) to play the Panthers in a PCSAA AA bout on Saturday, February 8. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 11-10. KIPP College Prep won 48-47 in their recent league bout against Friendship Collegiate Academy (Washington, DC)
