Nevada High School Basketball - Portola knocks off Sierra Lutheran

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Portola Tigers basketball team scored a good 72-57 win over the Sierra Lutheran Falcons.

The Tigers (16-7) will now prepare for their contest against Biggs (Biggs, CA). The Wolverines come into the Mid-Valley contest with a 14-6 record. In their last contest, Biggs defeated Hamilton (Hamilton City, CA), 70-69, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) in a 2A Northern contest, on Friday, February 7. Sierra Lutheran will attempt to better on its 6-15 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 13-13 record after their 66-32 league win over Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV).
