The St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) basketball edged the host St. Rita Mustangs (Chicago, IL), 43-40 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 16-5 record. They play next when they host Marmion for a bout on Saturday, February 8. St. Laurence will play a Cadets team coming off a 39-25 non-league loss to Brother Rice (Chicago, IL). The Cadets record now stands at 5-6.
With the loss, St. Rita falls to 14-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Brother Rice (Chicago, IL) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Friday, February 7. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 21-1. Brother Rice won 39-25 in their recent non-league bout against Marmion (Aurora, IL)
