The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the IMG Academy Ascenders (Bradenton, FL) and the host Academy of Central Florida Golden Bulls (Kissimmee, FL), observed IMG Academy's basketball team overwhelm Academy of Central Florida by a score of 62-41.

The Ascenders (16-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Montverde Academy (Montverde, FL). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 21-1 record.

In their next game, the Golden Bulls battle the Hamilton Heights Christian Academy Hawks (Chattanooga, TN) in a Grind Session challenge, on Saturday, February 8. Academy of Central Florida will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 69-53 non-league loss to Cleveland (Cleveland, TN).
