The Bulldogs (12-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Richwood (Monroe, LA). The Rams come into the 3A District 1 challenge with a 11-13 record. In their last challenge, Richwood was routed by Bastrop (Bastrop, LA), 41-25, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Block Bears (Jonesville, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Marksville will attempt to improve on its 10-13 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 38-34 league win over Tensas (St. Joseph, LA).
