In Wednesday's non-league test, the Douglas Tigers (Douglas, MA) basketball squad defeated the host Oxford Pirates (Oxford, MA), by a final score of 44-34.
Next, the Tigers clash with the Blackstone-Millville Chargers (Blackstone, MA) in a Dual Valley test, on Monday, February 10. Douglas will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Chargers come into the test with a 8-6 record after their 48-21 league win over Nipmuc Regional (Upton, MA).
The Pirates (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Quaboag Regional (Warren, MA). The Cougars come into the non-league test with a 4-5 record.
