In Wednesday's non-league test, the Thornridge Falcons (Dolton, IL) basketball squad trounced the visiting Hansberry Bengals (Chicago, IL), by a final score of 62-17.
Next, the Falcons clash with the Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL) in a Southland test, on Thursday, February 6. Thornridge will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the test with a 3-24 record after their 59-22 league loss to Thornton (Harvey, IL).
The Bengals (7-12) will now prepare for their test against Chicago Washington (Chicago, IL). The Patriots come into the non-league test with a 8-11 record. In their last test, Chicago Washington bounced Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park (Chicago, IL), 29-28, in a non-league test.
