Maryland High School Basketball - Mount de Sales Academy thwarts John Carroll

The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Mount de Sales Academy Sailors (Catonsville, MD) and the visiting John Carroll Patriots (Bel Air, MD), observed Mount de Sales Academy's basketball team knock off John Carroll by a score of 49-41.
The Sailors (20-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Severn School (Severna Park, MD). The Admirals come into the IAAM B challenge with a 13-6 record.
In their next game, the Patriots encounter the St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings (Buckeystown, MD) in a IAAM B bout, on Friday, February 7. John Carroll will attempt to move on its 15-5 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 7-14 record after their 64-49 league loss to Indian Creek (Crownsville, MD).
