Ohio High School Basketball - Johnstown-Monroe victorious over Zanesville

In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies basketball team scored a good 48-38 triumph over the Zanesville Blue Devils.

The Johnnies (17-3) will now prepare for their contest against Northridge (Johnstown, OH). The Vikings go into the Licking County - Cardinal contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, Northridge topped Licking Heights (Pataskala, OH), 54-41, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Licking Valley Panthers (Newark, OH) in a Licking County - Buckeye contest, on Saturday, February 8. Zanesville will attempt to better on its 4-17 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 3-18 record after their 57-37 league loss to Utica (Utica, OH).
