Rhode Island High School Basketball - Prout bests Mt. Pleasant

The Prout Crusaders basketball team scored 44 points and limited the host Mt. Pleasant Kilties to 27 in the Crusaders league triumph on Wednesday.

The Crusaders now possess a 15-2 record. They play next when they travel to North Providence for a Division III game on Friday, February 7. Prout will confront a Cougars team coming off a 65-32 league win over Central (Providence, RI). The Cougars record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, Mt. Pleasant falls to 5-14 on the campaign. The Kilties host Lincoln School (Providence, RI) to confront the Lynx in a Division III game on Friday, February 7. The Lynx go into the game with a record of 16-1. Lincoln School won 45-43 in their recent league game against Davies Career & Tech (Lincoln, RI)
