Michigan High School Ice Hockey - Cheboygan nudges Tawas Area

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Cheboygan Chiefs ice hockey team scored a close 5-3 victory over the Tawas Area Braves.
The Chiefs (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Jeffers (Painesdale, MI). The Jets go into the non-league contest with a 15-3 record. In their last contest, Jeffers edged Kingsford (Kingsford, MI), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Braves play the Freeland Falcons (Freeland, MI) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, February 12. Tawas Area will attempt to better on its 3-20 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 4-14 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Davison (Davison, MI).
