The Midland Chemics ice hockey team scored 5 points and held the visiting Grand Blanc Bobcats to 3 in the Chemics non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Chemics now own a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sparta for a non-league bout on Friday, February 7. Midland will play a Spartans team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Christian (Grand Rapids, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 12-6.

With the defeat, Grand Blanc moves to 8-13 on the season. The Bobcats host Troy (Troy, MI) to play the Colts in a non-league bout on Friday, February 7. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 13-7. Troy won 6-1 in their recent league bout against Oxford (Oxford, MI)
