In Wednesday's league contest, the host South Lyon Lions ice hockey team scored a close 9-5 victory over the Novi Wildcats.
The Lions (9-14) will now prepare for their contest against Northville (Northville, MI). The Mustangs go into the Kensington Lakes - Central contest with a 23-8 record. In their last contest, Northville edged Canton (Canton, MI), 8-1, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats play the Churchill Chargers (Livonia, MI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 8. Novi will attempt to better on its 14-8 season record. The Chargers go into the contest with a 14-14 record after their 7-5 league loss to Canton (Canton, MI).
