The Annapolis Cougars (Dearborn Heights, MI) basketball nipped the host Anderson Titans (Southgate, MI), 60-56 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cougars (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Garden City (Garden City, MI). The Cougars go into the Western Wayne test with a 1-13 record. In their last test, Garden City was tipped by Thurston (Redford, MI), 73-46, in a league test.
The Titans now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they host Allen Park for a Downriver test on Thursday, February 9. Anderson will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 49-33 league win over Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI). The Jaguars record now stands at 10-5.
