The Lewiston-Altura Cardinals (Lewiston, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms (Blooming Prairie, MN), 89-74 in Monday's league test.
The Cardinals (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Dover-Eyota (Eyota, MN). The Eagles go into the AA Section 1 test with a 4-17 record. In their last test, Dover-Eyota went down by Triton (Dodge Center, MN), 69-56, in a league test.
The Awesome Blossoms now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they host Randolph for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 7. Blooming Prairie will encounter a Rockets squad coming off a 75-60 non-league loss to Lourdes (Oshkosh, WI). The Rockets record now stands at 10-11.
