Central Mountain Wildcats (Mill Hall, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Tyrone Golden Eagles (Tyrone, PA), 76-73 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Central Mountain upgrades its record to 18-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA) to clash with the Green Dragons in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Green Dragons go into the bout with a record of 14-6. Lewisburg won 54-44 in their recent non-league bout against Hughesville (Hughesville, PA)

Next up, the Golden Eagles clash with the Bellefonte Raiders (Bellefonte, PA) in a Mountain bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Tyrone will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 50-38 league win over Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA).
