With the victory, Columbus improves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Titans host Girard (Girard, KS) to confront the Trojans in a Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Girard won 52-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Anderson County (Garnett, KS)

Next up, the Golden Tornado confront the Independence Bulldogs (Independence, KS) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 10. Field Kindley will attempt to advance on its 3-8 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 5-11 record after their 60-56 non-league loss to Pittsburg (Pittsburg, KS).
