In Monday's non-league outing, the Port Allen Pelicans (Port Allen, LA) basketball squad edged the visiting East St. John Wildcats (Reserve, LA), by a count of 71-66.
The Pelicans (23-2) will now prepare for their outing against Capitol (Baton Rouge, LA). The Lions go into the non-league outing with a 9-13 record.
