The Fairview Panthers basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Mamou Demons to 59 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Panthers now sport a 28-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reeves for a C District 5 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Fairview will meet a Raiders team coming off a 86-52 league loss to Plainview (Glenmora, LA). The Raiders record now stands at 12-15.
The Demons (12-12) will now prepare for their contest against Iota (Iota, LA). The Bulldogs enter the 3A District 4 contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, Iota nudged Pine Prairie (Pine Prairie, LA), 71-38, in a league contest.
