Paris Coyotes (Paris, MO) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Fayette Falcons (Fayette, MO), 59-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Paris upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Coyotes host Westran (Huntsville, MO) to clash with the Hornets in a Lewis & Clark bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 20-3. Westran won 77-27 in their recent league bout against Marceline (Marceline, MO)

Next up, the Falcons clash with the New Bloomfield Wildcats (New Bloomfield, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Fayette will attempt to upgrade on its 5-17 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-20 record after their 76-12 league loss to Eugene (Eugene, MO).
