The Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) basketball nipped the host St. Charles North North Stars (St. Charles, IL), 48-41 in Monday's non-league test.
The Hilltoppers (17-9) will now prepare for their test against Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL). The Trojans go into the West Suburban - Silver test with a 23-3 record. In their last test, Downers Grove North got by Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL), 54-43, in a non-league test.
The North Stars now own a 6-20 record. They play next when they host Lake Park for a DuKane test on Wednesday, February 8. St. Charles North will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 45-21 non-league win over Highland Park (Highland Park, IL). The Lancers record now stands at 18-8.
