In Monday's non-league outing, the Hagerman Pirates (Hagerman, ID) basketball squad edged the host Sun Valley Community Cutthroats (Sun Valley, ID), by a margin of 52-50.
The Pirates (7-10) will now prepare for their outing against Dietrich (Dietrich, ID). The Blue Devils go into the 1A Sawtooth outing with a 7-11 record. In their last outing, Dietrich held off Glenns Ferry (Glenns Ferry, ID), 56-44, in a non-league outing.
The Cutthroats now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Declo for a 2A Canyon outing on Wednesday, February 8. Sun Valley Community will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 59-50 league loss to Wendell (Wendell, ID). The Hornets record now stands at 10-9.
