The Haslett Vikings basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Lansing Catholic Cougars to 48 in the Vikings non-league victory on Monday.
The Vikings now sport a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williamston for a Capital Area - Red contest on Friday, February 10. Haslett will battle a Hornets team coming off a 43-41 league loss to Eastern (Lansing, MI). The Hornets record now stands at 3-14.
The Cougars (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Charlotte (Charlotte, MI). The Orioles come into the Capital Area - White contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Charlotte was defeated by Pennfield (Battle Creek, MI), 57-50, in a non-league contest.
