Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI), 85-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Lincoln upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Lions travel to Burrillville (Harrisville, RI) to clash with the Broncos in a Division 2 bout on Wednesday, February 8. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 13-6. Burrillville lost 65-55 in their recent league bout against St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI)

Next up, the Blue Wave clash with the Coventry Oakers (Coventry, RI) in a Division 2 bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Hope will attempt to upgrade on its 1-15 season record. The Oakers go into the bout with a 7-10 record after their 54-49 league loss to Cranston West (Cranston, RI).
