Illinois High School Basketball - Serena thwarts Illinois Math & Science Academy

The Serena Huskers (Serena, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Illinois Math & Science Academy Titans (Aurora, IL), 64-47 in Monday's league test.

The Huskers (22-6) will now prepare for their test against Marquette (Ottawa, IL). The Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 20-5 record. In their last test, Marquette notched a victory over Putnam County (Granville, IL), 68-66, in a league test.

The Titans now own a 12-12 record. They play next when they host LaMoille for a Little Ten test on Tuesday, February 7. Illinois Math & Science Academy will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 67-51 non-league loss to Pearl City (Pearl City, IL). The Lions record now stands at 7-15.
