The Mount Ayr Raiders basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Interstate 35 Roadrunners to 38 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Monday.

The Raiders now sport a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Red Oak for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 9. Mount Ayr will meet a Tigers team coming off a 65-62 non-league win over Exira-EHK (Elk Horn, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-13.

The Roadrunners (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Pleasantville (Pleasantville, IA). The Trojans enter the West Central contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Pleasantville was routed by Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center (Guthrie Center, IA), 67-53, in a league contest.
