The Washburn Cardinals basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Kidder County co-op [Steele/Tappen] Pirates to 48 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Monday.

The Cardinals now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hettinger/Scranton for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 9. Washburn will battle a Black Devils team coming off a 63-46 league loss to Killdeer (Killdeer, ND). The Black Devils record now stands at 4-9.
