With the victory, Word of Life Christian Academy improves its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Ambassadors travel to Shining Star Sports Academy (Petersburg, VA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 8. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 13-9.

Next up, the Lions confront the Riverdale Baptist Crusaders (Upper Marlboro, MD) in a Maryland Independent challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Lanham Christian will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 19-2 record after their 66-61 non-league win over Glenelg Country (Ellicott City, MD).
