Delaware High School Basketball - Polytech can't hold off William Penn

The William Penn Colonials basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Polytech Panthers to 64 in the Colonials non-league victory on Monday.

The Colonials now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newark for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 8. William Penn will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 50-41 non-league loss to Hodgson Vo-Tech (Newark, DE). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 7-8.

The Panthers (12-3) will now prepare for their contest against Smyrna (Smyrna, DE). The Eagles come into the Henlopen - Northern contest with a 2-13 record.
