The Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL) basketball felled the host Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL), 67-58 in Monday's non-league test.
The Rebels (16-8) will now prepare for their test against Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL). The Fightin' Irish go into the Metro Suburban test with a 21-5 record. In their last test, Bishop McNamara thwarted Westmont (Westmont, IL), 72-43, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 9-18 record. They play next when they travel to Buffalo Grove for a Mid-Suburban - East test on Friday, February 10. Wheeling will encounter a Bison squad coming off a 84-59 non-league win over The Prairie School (Racine, WI). The Bison record now stands at 11-16.
