The Westover Wolverines tipped the host Scotland Fighting Scots basketball team by a final score of 50-45 in Monday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Wolverines face the Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC) in a 3A/4A Conference 23 game, on Tuesday, February 7. Westover will attempt to move on its 17-6 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 2-19 record after their 71-19 league loss to E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC).
With the defeat, Scotland moves to 17-5 on the year. The Fighting scots travel to Lee County (Sanford, NC) to face the Yellow Jackets in a 3A/4A Conference 24 game on Tuesday, February 7. The Yellow Jackets enter the game with a record of 7-13. Lee County lost 86-34 in their recent league game against Richmond (Rockingham, NC)
