In Monday's non-league outing, the Wapsie Valley Warriors (Fairbank, IA) basketball squad beat the visiting Turkey Valley Trojans (Jackson Junction, IA), by a count of 77-57.

The Warriors (15-4) will now prepare for their outing against Columbus (Waterloo, IA). The Sailors go into the North Iowa Cedar - East outing with a 2-15 record. In their last outing, Columbus was topped by Union (La Porte City, IA), 49-46, in a league outing.

The Trojans now hold a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Kee for a Upper Iowa outing on Tuesday, February 7. Turkey Valley will clash with a Kee Hawks squad coming off a 69-51 league win over Central (Elkader, IA). The Kee Hawks record now stands at 6-13.
