Canton C-Hawks (Canton, SD) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Parker Pheasants (Parker, SD), 50-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Canton upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The C-Hawks host Centerville (Centerville, SD) to play the Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Tornadoes come into the bout with a record of 12-3. Centerville won 65-33 in their recent non-league bout against Marty Indian (Marty, SD)

Next up, the Pheasants play the Viborg/Hurley Cougars (Viborg, SD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Parker will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 14-2 record after their 63-41 non-league loss to Wagner (Wagner, SD).
